NATALIZIO, Alfredo

February 18, 1935 - October 30, 2022

 The family of Alfredo Natalizio of Toronto is saddened to announce his passing on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the age of 87.

He was predeceased by his parents Antonio and Emilia; siblings Gilda, Rosina, Michele and Adelina and by his nephew Carlo. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Annamaria, Roberto and Rino of Italy; Dalia, Francesca, Salvatore , Rosanna and Constantino of Toronto and their families. 

Alfredo was born in Rende, Cosenza, Italy. He enjoyed his youth with his family amongst the fig and olive trees in the southern Italian countryside.

Postwar Italy was a harsh time so Alfredo boarded a ship to Canada in 1956 with hopes of a new life. 

Eventually Alfredo found his true passion in life in becoming a real estate agent. He had a natural talent for making people happy in their new homes. He was very proud of the fact that he had never had a single complaint in all of his years working.

He spent his retirement years enjoying the company of his many friends and family members.

Alfredo's motto in life was "La vita bella."

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home – Dufferin Chapel (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Avenue West) on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 3 – 8 p.m.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Alfredo’s memory at St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Avenue West at Dufferin Street) on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 1:30 p.m.  Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst Street, north of Finch Avenue West

Alfredo will forever be in our hearts.
