August 20, 1939 – January 30, 2023

 

With sadness, we announce the passing of Angelo on January 30, 2023 at the age of 83. Beloved husband for 60 years to Ida. Cherished father of Mimi (Steven Green), Valentino (Giuliana), Virginia and former son-in-law Vincenzo whom he still held in close regard. Proud nonno of Felicia (Steven Pagliaroli), Angelina (Francis Blanquera), Angelo, Armani and Marc Anthony and great-grandfather to Xania, Sofia, Gabriella, Isabella, Olivia and Ida Jr. Predeceased by his brother Pasquale, Angelo is survived by sibilngs Stella, Anna, Nicola, Jesse, Teresa and Rosa. A beloved brother-in-law and Zio, he will be missed by his nieces, nephews and their families.

It is with very heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye to our beloved Angelo Scorcia. Angelo left this world peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. He fought as hard as he could, but now it is time for him to rest and be at peace. Angelo was such an incredible man, and loved by so many friends and family. He was an absolute angel on earth, always willing to lend a helping hand for anyone who needed it. The memories we have of him will live on in our hearts. We are all going to miss him immensely and the world will not be the same without this kind, gentle man. Angelo, we will always remember and miss you until we meet again. We love you.

Relatives and friends are invited to Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed via St. Charles Borromeo's YouTube page. Angelo will be laid to rest at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.).
