Obituary for Anne-Marie Cusimano-Johnston

Anne-Marie Cusimano-Johnston entered into eternal life peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, March 1st, 2024.

She was one of nine children and was an avid all-around athlete who enjoyed and valued all aspects of mindful, healthy living. She was a dedicated teacher for over 30 years in the area of special education in various schools throughout her exemplary career.

Anne-Marie was happily married to her wonderful husband, Bobby, for 25 years. Her son Wesley was the joy of her life. Anne-Marie was a constant presence at his baseball games, from tee-ball at the local park to travel baseball across North America, in stadiums such as Fenway Park. She was and will always be his biggest supporter.

Anne-Marie was loyal, optimistic, generous, and faithful and her beauty both inside and out was unparalleled. She loved so deeply and made an effort to connect with everyone she knew - her family, friends, students, and anyone she met along the way.

She found solace in the warmth of the sunshine and the serenity of being near water, where her spirit truly soared. Anne-Marie’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and an enduring commitment to those she held dear. Anne-Marie was strong, confident, and honest while simultaneously remaining gentle, humble, and kind. May we carry her light in our hearts and find comfort in the memories we hold of her as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, Zia, teacher, and friend who embraced life with elegance and gratitude. Anne-Marie lived her life with grace, through faith, holding an attitude of gratitude always.

She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends ~ until we meet again.❤️

May the White Light of the Holy Spirit Guide and Protect You Always
