Anna Maria Pronesti

1935 - 2023

Anna Maria Careri Pronesti was born in Polistena, Reggio Calabria on June 7, 1935.  She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren on April 25th 2023.  Wife to the late Domenico Pronesti.  Anna Maria was a caring wife and homemaker who adored her children and made sure that they where all unconditionally loved.  Daughter of the late Domenico Careri and Late Maria Angela Seminara.  Sister of eight brothers, Late  Vincenzo , Late Giuseppe, Late Francresco, Late Pietro, Sarafino ,Late Armando, Giorgio , Giacomo.  

She adored all eight of her children and leaves behind Carmelo, Salvatore, Vincenzo, Lucia, Marisa, Giulietta , Francesco  and Armando. The love for her children had expanded to her grandchildren whom she leaves behind Domenic, Anna, Jerome, Jesse, Michael, Charles, Carlo , Kyle , Leanne , Felicia, Steven , Giulian, Stella , Francesca .   As the family grew the great grand children came along to embrace mom with more love.  She leaves behind great grand children: Keanna, Natasha, Ruben, Leelan, Miguel, Anayla, Souleil, Ezrael, Kaleb, Madison, Gabriela, Jaxsen, Noel, Adonis, Amara, Late Milena, Jayla, Soraya, Kaydo, Isla, Julian, Declan and Kinley.  She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and especially all her children, grand children and great grandchildren who adore her with all of their hearts.  

We know that we can’t always have you but we are happy knowing that the angels have you in their arms.  You will be greatly missed but never forgotten.  We know you will continue to take care of us as you always have. 

Rest in peace momma.  We love you so much, we hold you in our hearts forever. 

Visitation will take place at the Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St., Toronto) on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave. W.). Donations in memory of Anna Maria can be made to the Scott Mission, and are appreciated by her family.
