Obituary for Anna Parolin

Anna Parolin passed away on May 3rd after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Anna is survived by her husband, Ugo, her children, Paul and spouse Lori, and Lily and spouse Nick Serio 

her grandchildren Sabrina and partner Ryan Mumby, Sonya and fiancé John Bodansky, and Gia and Elyse 

her sister Lodovica Parolin, brother Mariano Fantin 

as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Italy and Australia. 

She is predeceased by her parents Luigi and Pasqua Fantin, her husband Giovanni Parolin , sister Maria, and brothers Armando,

Narciso, and Umberto. 

Anna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to spoil her family who she was very proud of. 

Though she enjoyed travelling, Anna loved her home and participating in family events. 

Anna was a spiritual woman which helped her endure her physical ailments. 

She will be missed deeply by her family, friends, and all who knew her. 

Special thanks to all the specialists, doctors, nurses, PSWs, Palliative Care Team, and Humber and Baycrest Hospitals for their empathy, care, and professionalism throughout the past year. 

In memory of our mom, the family would appreciate donations to Baycrest Health Sciences.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Avenue W) on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Mask use is encouraged while attending.  Funeral Mass will take place inside St. Charles Borormeo Church (811 Lawrence Avenue West, at Dufferin) on Friday, May 6th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.  Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Avenue West, east of Caledonia Road.)
