Obituary for Antonio Di Clemente
With sadness, we announce the passing of Antonio Di Clemente on September 1, 2020. Born September 3, 1939 in Roccamorice, Italy, he was the son of Donato and Angiolina (DiCarlo) Di Clemente.
Antonio was predeceased by his wife Sherry (Heal) Di Clemente. Beloved father of Angiolina Di Clemente, Christina (Gregory) Neal and Gina Di Clemente; cherished grandfather of Kenneth Bess III, Mason Bess, Taylor Bess, Olivia Neal, Kameron Neal, and Ajay Butcher; great-grandfather of Isabelle Fuller; dear brother of Luigi (Polly) Di Clemente and the late Maria Paoletti and Umberto Di Clemente; and dear friend, Anthony Ciarfella. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Italy.
Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Please note, that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions and social distancing requirements, for the visitation, the funeral home must conform to 30% occupancy capacity. Visitors may need to wait to enter the funeral home in order to maintain the capacity requirement. Face masks are mandatory and contact tracing information will be collected upon entering the building.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Please note, the capacity of St. Charles Borromeo Church is 200 people and face masks are mandatory.
Due to the limited number of attendees permitted in the mausoleum, a private entombment at Prospect Cemetery will follow.
In memory of Antonio, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
