Antonio 'Tony' Pisciola

February 4, 1956 - September 29, 2022

With sadness, we announce the passing of Antonio (Tony) on September 29, 2022 at the age of 66. Loving husband of 44 years to Grace and cherished father to Stefanie and Cristina. Proud nonno of Gavin, Gabe, and Ashton. Caring zio to many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by family and friends here in Canada and in Italy and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him especially his dog Charlie and grand-dog Luna. 

Tony will be remembered by his silly pranks and antics. His sense of humor, (which was seen until his final days), will be missed by those who knew and loved him.  He enjoyed music, dancing and good food. He was always an old soul who made friends wherever he went.

A special Thank You to Dr. Chris Teshima and staff at the Endoscopy unit of St. Michael’s Hospital that went above and beyond caring for Tony during his courageous battle with cancer. 

Relatives and friends are welcomed to the Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. A chapel service will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Antonio will then be laid to rest at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W., east of Caledonia Rd.).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Antonio may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, with funds being directed towards ‘Esophageal Cancer Research’.
