Like many others, he decided to move to Canada in search of a better life for himself and his young family. He worked very hard build a home and provide for his family. He was very social, was a member of clubs and enjoyed spending time with his many friends on St. Clair. He loved to play scopa, brisk and many other Italian card games. He loved fast cars and music. In 1980 Antonio became a father for the second time to his beloved daughter Anna Maria. Antonio adored his little girl, and they shared an extremely strong bond. Antonio stepped up to help care for his wife and never left her side even when he himself became ill in the latter years. The years ahead would be difficult ones, but he never gave up. As a family that has gone through many tough times, himself and his family appreciated and celebrated the good one so much more.
