Obituary for Argentino Correale

CORREALE, Argentino
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Argentino, on May 11, 2021. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family at the age of 89. Argentino leaves behind his treasured wife, Emma, of 65 years (July 2, 1955) and his much-loved children Renzo, Antonio (Eve), Elsa (Craig), and Enio (Gina). He was the proud Nonno of Michael, Nicole, Nathan, Caroline, Maximillian and Benjamin and cherished the relationships he had with them immensely. He is also survived by his loving sisters Irma, Antonietta and Iole, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Giuseppina, and beloved younger brother, Mario.

Argentino left his home in Terelle, Italy on November 11, 1951 and arrived in Canada with the desire and ambition to work hard and raise a family. He excelled as a Master Electrician and was recognized for his impeccable workmanship. He trained and mentored anyone who expressed an interest in this field of work and gave generously of his time to provide services to family, friends and neighbours. Argentino’s love for ice cream began during his first summer in Canada and was the only food he requested and tolerated during his illness. Ice cream is a symbol and reminder of his sweetness.

Argentino will forever be loved and remembered, and his presence immensely missed.
