Obituary for Assunta Iannetta (Priolo)
With sadness, we announce the passing of Assunta on March 17, 2021 at the age of 82. Cherished wife to Antonio and beloved mother of Salvatore and Luana (Robin). She will be remembered as a proud nonna to her five grandchildren, Isabella, Angelica, Gabriel, Emerald, and Devin. Her new God-given wings will guide her now as guardian angel to those she always called “her heart” in life. Assunta’s memory will forever be carried by her family and her many friends in Canada, the United States, and Italy. She will be missed. May she rest in peace, knowing she was fiercely loved.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 9 – 10 a.m. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, attendees will need to reserve a time slot for visitation. A private funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to participate online via Zoom:

Assunta will be laid to rest at Westminster cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave. W.).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
