Obituary for Bruno Brancatella
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bruno Brancatella, on the 19th day of December 2020, in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 92. Beloved husband to Rita Anna Brancatella. Loving father of Roberto Brancatella and his wife Franca, and Danny Brancatella and his wife Alessandra. Adored grandfather of Teresa Brancatella Pichini and her husband Alessandro, Marcus Bruno Brancatella, Victoria Brancatella and Luca Brancatella. Proud great-grandfather of Leonardo Pichini. Bruno was predeceased by his six siblings from both Canada and Italy. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 3-8 p.m. As the City of Toronto has moved into the more restricted ‘lockdown’ category during this pandemic, guests will now need to now schedule and reserve their time to attended visitations. Available on the Bernardo Funeral Home website (www.bernardofh.com) you can reserve for yourself and family time during the visitation (see below and click the blue RSVP button). Face masks are mandatory and contact tracing information will be collected upon entering the building.
A private funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to participate online:

Following the service, Bruno will be laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Due to the limited number of people allowed to be in attendance, only the immediate family members will attend the services in the funeral home and at the cemetery.
In memory of Bruno, donations may be made to the CNIB.
