Obituary for Carmine Di Luccio

God called our beloved father and patriarch, Carmine Di Luccio on November 7, 2020 at the age of 97. He is reunited in heaven with his wife Maria of 73 years and his brothers Nicola and Aniello and sisters, Mafalda, Nannina, Biagina, Filomena, Maria and Natalina.

He passed away peacefully after a short stay at Humber River Hospital with his children by his side. We wish to thank all the doctors, nurses and front-line workers for their outstanding care for our dad who fought right to the end.

He will be sadly missed by his sons Domenic (Melanie), Nick (Dipika) and Gino, his daughters Josie (Tony), Claire (Sergio) and Tonina (Robert) and his loving sisters Libera and Giovannina in Italy.

He was a proud Nonno to Dario, Yolanda (Frank), Carmen, Michael, Natalie (Raghu), Sarah (Juan), Daniel (Sara), Reza (Nagham), Domenico (Natalie), Julia (Scott), Anthony and Alessandra.

Adoring Great-Nonno to Isabella, Victoria, Antonio, Ava, Sofia, Annalise, Juan-Cristiano, Aria, Mac, Rhythm, Kace, and baby Isadora.

Born and raised in Bellizzi, (Province of Salerno), Italy. He came to Canada with his wife and first of three children in March 1957. He worked at F.G. Lister in the Ontario Food Terminal for over 30 years.

Carmine had a passion for gardening, fishing and making wine. He was the happiest when family and friends surrounded the kitchen table that was always full of food and wine.

Cent’anni!
