Obituary for Celia Elena Lopez Campaña

Please join us to forever honour and celebrate the life of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Celia Elena Lopez Campaña, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on November 5, 2020, at Kensington Hospice in Toronto.

Elena was a devoted wife to Miguel Sr., loving mother to her “cinco patitos”, Miguel (Sadaf), Lucas (Mimi), Raquel (Tristan), Sofia (Derek), and Matthew (Ana Belen), and dearest abuela to Yasmeen and Noah. She will be sadly missed by her siblings, Carmen, Susi, and Juan, her great uncle, Tio Salvador, her brother- and sisters-in law, and her many nieces and nephews. She will be joining her parents, Julio Francisco and Maria Basilia, her sisters Tere and Mariana, daughter-in-law Anna, and other beloved friends and family in eternal peace in heaven.

Those who knew her know that she had a heart of gold. Her love was unconditional. Elena was selfless, loving, compassionate, kind, caring and put her children, husband, and everyone else before herself. She gave excellent advice and looked after others, especially in a time of need. She was hard-working, always moving quickly from one place or task to the next. She was extremely thoughtful, and paid extra attention to small details. Elena absolutely loved and cherished children, especially her grandchildren, and the joy they bring to the world. She valued learning and education, and supported her children in every way possible to achieve their goals. She was an excellent chef, and stressed the importance of eating well. She loved nature and all animals, especially the family fish, Poisson, and her grand-dog Bobby.

Elena and Miguel celebrated 45 years of marriage this summer 2020. She will be tremendously missed, but her legacy will live on forever in our hearts and actions. Please keep her in your memories for she was truly one of a kind.

Oracion para alcanzar a la Paz:
Hágase, cumplase, sea alabada y enternamente ensalzada la justisima y amabilisima voluntad de Dios sobre todas las cosas.
Amén, amén.
(y santiguarse + AMEN).
