Obituary for Concetta Rao (Lio)
With sadness, we announce the passing of Concetta on February 13, 2021 at the age of 87. Beloved and devoted wife for 61 years she leaves behind her husband Luigi and three sons, Gianfranco (Lucy), Carlo (Christine) and Paolo (Rosalia Dolly). Proud nonna of Gabriel, Nicola, Jean-Luigi, Carolyna, Alex, Concetta, Rosalie and Luigi. Predeceased by siblings Francesco, Carmena, Assunta, Pietro, Serafino, Marietta, Giuseppe and Ida. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families as well as her many friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our family has decided to have a private visitation and funeral service.
Concetta will be laid to rest at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Concetta may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
