Dolores Maria Silva

March 14, 1945 –March 15, 2023

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dolores on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the age of 78. Survived by her husband of 58 years, Manuel.  Caring mother to Susan (Todd) and Steven (Paula). Cherished Avo of Rachael, Sarah, Loren, Tyler, and Miley. Beloved sister of Tony and Joe Camarata in Canada and Manuel Camarata in Portugal. She is reunited in Heaven with her brothers Eric and Armando. Dolores will be forever remembered and greatly missed by her many relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Tuesday, March 21, from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place at Santa Cruz Portuguese Catholic Church (142 Argyle St., at Dovercourt Rd.).  Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W., east of Caledonia Rd.) If desired, donations can be made in Dolores’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
