Obituary for Elena Antoniali

ANTONIALI, Elena (nee BORTOLUSSI).

1931 - 2021

It is with great sorrow that we share the loss of a remarkable woman who passed at the age of 89 on April 12, 2021.

Elena’s life revolved around her family. Beloved wife of the late Dante Antoniali, Devoted mother to Patrizia (Robert) and Assunta (Renato). Proud grandmother to Matthew, Celine (Mathew), Andrew and Christian. Her ‘sunshine’ was her great-grandbaby little Camilla.

Elena was a proud Canadian, coming from Italy in 1959. As a homebody, her passion for gardening and her flowers were always a source of great delight. Elena had a love for beautiful fabrics and enjoyed sewing her own creations for herself and friends and family. She was also an active member of her parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Church, who shared her time and talents with many over the years. Always ready with a smile and a helping hand. She worked for the Toronto Catholic District School Board for over 30 years as a custodian who took personal pride in her work.

She leaves a big void in our hearts and will be greatly missed

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, would be greatly appreciated.
