Obituary for Elisabetta Bertucci (Roti)
With sadness, we announce the passing of Elisabetta on October 30, 2020 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her beloved husband Fortunato (2008) and her son Francesco (2003). Cherished mother of Rosa (Cosimo Garito), Joe (Rose), Chiara (Alvin Robertson), Domenico, Rita, Laura (Sinisa Jazic) and Bruno. Proud nonna of Caterina, Elizabeth, Marie, Nathan, Adam, Amanda, Joseph, Anthony, Aeva, Maria, Lauren, Livia, Matteo, Grace, and Alessio and great-grandmother of Caterina, Serena, Joseph, and Danylo. Survived by her siblings Bruno, Italia and Salvatore. Zia Elisabetta will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families.
A private visitation will be held for the family.
Relatives and friends are welcomed to celebrate in the Funeral Mass on Monday, November 2, 2020 at St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) at 10:00 a.m. Please note, the capacity of St. Charles Borromeo Church is 200 people and face masks are mandatory.
A private entombment will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. Due to the limited number of people allowed to gather, only the immediate family members will attend the services at the cemetery.
