Giannoula (Anna) Karageorgos

August 10, 1929 – July 29, 2022

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our dear Anna on July 29, 2022 at the age of 92. Beloved wife to John for 59 years. Cherished mother to her sons Peter (Anastasia) and Pete (Teresa). Proud and caring grandmother of Christina, Joanna, Alex and Tomas. Predeceased by her sister Katherine, brother George and stepbrother Thanasis. Anna leaves behind her many nieces, nephews and their families in both Canada and Greece.

Visitation will take place at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Annunciation of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) Greek Orthodox Cathedral (136 Sorauren Ave., north of Queen St. W.) on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Anna will be laid to rest at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave. W., east of Caledonia Rd.), section 23.
