Gianuario D'Agrosa

November 4, 1928- July 8, 2022

Gianuario (Gino) D’Agrosa was born on November 4, 1928 in Paterno, Potenza, Italy and passed away on July 8, 2022 in Toronto, Ontario.

Gino was the beloved husband of 71 years of Giovannina (Lina), (nee Aulicino).  He was the loving and dedicated father of Michael (Josie), Raffaele (Elena), Maria (Oto), the proud grandfather of Marilynn (Michael), Angela, Gabrielle (Matthew), Alexander, Adam, Emma, Sarah, Laura, Julia, and the dotting great-grandfather of Alivia and Ava.  Gino is pre-deceased by his twin brother Giovanni and brother in-law Saverio (Norina), survived by his brother Giuseppe (Linda), brother in-law Michele (Franca), brother in-law Vito (Rosa), and brother in-law Tony (Josie).

Gino was a skilled craftsman who created pieces of upholstered furniture that adorn the homes of friends and family.  He was an avid gardener who had the ability to supply family with a bounty of home-grown produce each and every growing season.  Above all else he honoured his family through his limitless love and support. He is remembered and will forever be held dear to the hearts of his children and their families, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will take place at the Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 11, 2022 from St. John Bosco Church (402 Westmount Ave., east of Rogers Rd.) at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery (1650 St. Clair Ave. W, at Caledonia Rd.).
