MARCHETTA, Giorgina

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giorgina Marchetta.  Giorgina passed away at the age of 86 in the presence of her loving family.  She is joined in Heaven by her beloved husband, the late Antonio Marchetta (2000).  Loving mother to Assunto (Maria) and Angelo (Brenda). Beloved “Nonna Gina” to Paul, Victoria and Anthony Marchetta.  May she be remembered for her kind heart, loving smile and tranquil presence.  She will be greatly missed by her adoring family.

            May she rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Ave., W.) on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 2 – 4 & 6 - 9 p.m.   A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 24, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church (706 Old Weston Road, at Rogers Road). Giorgina will be laid to rest at the Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst Street, north of Finch Avenue West).

Giorgina will forever be in our hearts.
