Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Brunina. Cherished father to Caterina (Giuseppe Castiglione), Pasquale (Miriam), and Vittoria (AJ Shuhaibar). Proud nonno of Giorgio (Michelle), Giuseppe, Gianmarco, Giuliana, Laura, Giulia and great-grandson Gianluca. Giorgio is predeceased by his sister Domenica and will always remembered by his sisters Isabella, Rosa, Anna Basilia and brothers Rosario and Onofrio. Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 6 – 9 p.m. and Monday, February 19, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony’s Church (1037 Bloor St., east of Dufferin St.) on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.) If desired, you may make a donation to either the Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Foundation.
