Giovanni Di Fonzo

August 27, 1948 – May 7, 2022

With sadness, we announce the passing of Giovanni on May 7, 2022 at home at the age of 73. Beloved husband for 50 years to Vincenza and cherished father of Joe (Cristina) and Fabio (Luisa). Proud nonno of Gabriele, Isabella, Adriano, Giuliano, and Luca. Dear brother of Daniele (Anna) and Emilia (Silvio Zannella), he will be missed by his nieces and nephews and their families.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. David’s Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr. W., east of Jane St.) on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. For those unable to join in person, the mass will be available via live stream, please click here to join on Zoom. Entombment will follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave. W.).
