With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our dear father and nonno Guerino on January 7, 2021 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his loving wife Anna (August 4, 2017) and his daughter Phylis (June 29, 2014). He leaves behind his daughter Marisa (Alfredo Olivieri) and son-in-law John Mucciarone. Proud nonno of Patricia, Marco, Francesco and Alessandro and great-grandfather of Emilijan. Predeceased by brother Costantino, he will be missed by his extended family, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. As the City of Toronto has moved into the more restricted ‘lockdown’ category during this pandemic, guests will now need to now schedule and reserve their time to attended visitations. Available on the Bernardo Funeral Home website (www.bernardofh.com) you can reserve for yourself and family time during the visitation (see below and click the blue RSVP button). Face masks are mandatory and contact tracing information will be collected upon entering the building.
A private funeral service will follow on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to participate online via Zoom:

Following the service, Guerino will be laid to rest with his spouse at Beechwood Cemetery. Due to the limited number of people allowed to be in attendance, only the immediate family members will attend the services in the funeral home and at the cemetery.
In memory of Guerino, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
