Obituary

Our father, Guido Napoleone D’Alessio, was born in Altilia, Cosenza, Italy to Gaetano D’Alessio and Teresina Ferrari, Shepherds of Sheep. As a young man he served in the Italian Military and later travelled to Belgium and Germany for work in order to provide for his family. He married Ersilia Orsola Rigitano on December 28, 1946. His son Gaetano was born in 1948, followed by his daughter Francesca in 1950 and lastly his daughter Maria in 1960. In 1967 he migrated to Canada, the Land of Opportunity, where he began to work in the construction industry and made a home for his family. He married off all his 3 children and retired at 65 years old. His passion was his family and he gave his very best to all of them with love and support. He was so strong in so many ways. With deep hearts, he will be greatly missed by his son Gaetano, his daughters Francesca and Maria. His daughter-in-law Carmela and son-in-laws Emilio and John. His grand-daughters Ersilia, Patricia, Pina and Jessica. His grandsons-in-law Gerry, Ross, Vince and Kelvin. His grandsons Tony, Danny and Michael. His grand-daugther-in-law Davi, Afrodite and Christina. His great grand-daughters Angelica, Veronica, Christina, Isabella, Nadia, Francesca, Tessa-Maria and Arielle. His great grandsons Matthew, Domenic and Sebastian.

We love you ‘PA’ and ‘NONNO’.

You will be forever be in our hearts.

May God bless you and have mercy on you. Rest in Peace.
