Iolanda De Gasperis

March 5, 1925 – October 29, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Iolanda on October 29, 2022 at the age of 97. She is now reunited in heaven with her late husband, Giuseppe. Iolanda will be forever missed by her beloved children: Rick (Marilyn) and Marisa. Proud Nonna to Ramona, Naomi (Alex Tedescco), Sarah, Giovanni, Damien (Leila), Tasha (Jamie) and Patrick. Adoring Bisnonna to Noa, Eden and Sulwyn. She will be missed by her extended family and friends.

Friends and family are welcomed to Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, November 3 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Norbert’s Church (100 Regent Road, north of Wilson Avenue) on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Iolanda will then be laid to rest with her husband at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst Street, north of Finch Avenue West).

In memory of Iolanda, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
