Obituary for Isabella Agro

AGRO, Isabella

The family of Isabella Agro is saddened to announce her passing on June 8th, 2021 at the age of 80. Isabella was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 62 years Vincenzo, her daughter Tilda along with her husband Frank, her son Sam along with his wife Susanne, her grandchildren Maurizio, Vincenzo, Marisa, Troy, Francesca and Sharon, and her great grandchild Tomasso.

Her loving parents, Elizabetta and Vito Romita, gave birth to Isabella on August 16th, 1940 in Bologna, Italy. At the age of 12, Isabella and her family made their way to Toronto, Ontario in 1952. Isabella was a very bright student and had a wonderful demeanor which shined through her years. In 1958, she married her husband Vincenzo. Through many years of building their life together and working hard, they were blessed with two beautiful children. Isabella found joy in creating delicious meals, which brought her family together.

Her family was her pride and joy. Photos of loved ones were in every corner of her home. The biggest joy she had was her grandchildren, and making sure they were stuffed with pasta, meatloaf, minestrone and meatballs. The more they ate, the bigger she smiled. The kind of love she felt for her family was unconditional. She just kept loving them, and they knew if they ever needed her, she was always there. She impacted many lives and she will be missed by all. So for your love, kindness and patience, thank you Isabella, mamma, nonna and bisnonna. We love you.
