Obituary for Joanne Lena Zampino

ZAMPINO, Joanne Lena

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the loss of our queen, Joanne Zampino. She passed away too soon on April 27th at the age of 77. She has been reunited with her late husband Frank, who she adored dearly. She leaves an unimaginable void in the hearts of her twin daughters Lisa (Paul) and Lana (Brian). A proud and cherished Nonna to J.J. (Shannon), Natalie (Mauricio), Michael and Mark. Adoring great grandmother to Nathan and Joshua. Joanne was a devoted sister to Dolores (the late Mario) and the late Benny. Dear aunt to Diana, Johnny (Marisa), Vince (Maria), and great nephew Zachary. A special thank you to Maria. A dear sister-in-law to Teresa (late Pietro), Giuseppina (late Filippo). Niece Sandra (Silvio), Nephew Johnny (Lilly). Great nephews Peter and Robert. Nephew Nick (Genevieve) and great niece Zoe & great nephew Filippo. Niece Annamaria (Cory) and great niece, Alessia and great nephews Christian, Matteo. She will be greatly missed by all cousins and friends.

Joanne will always be remembered for her craft in hair styling, her contagious fashion sense, and her impactful personality towards others. She always brought so much presence to a room.

You could also count on JoJo no matter what. Her happy place was with family and friends, that eventually turned into family! There was a special spot in her heart for everyone at Zampino Glamour Studio, along with her clients! The love, gratitude and joyful memories will never, ever be forgotten. Heaven has gained a special Angel to watch over us.

We love you JoJo!
