Obituary for Jose Arnaldo Nobrega
With sadness, we announce the passing of Jose on October 27, 2020 at the age of 95. Predeceased by his beloved wife Maria. Cherished father of Cecilia (Chris Gallo, predeceased) and James (Susanna). Proud grandfather of Joshua and Samuel Gallo. Jose will be missed by his siblings, nieces and nephews and their families plus his many friends.
Relatives and friends are welcomed to Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St., South of Lawrence Ave.) on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 4 - 9 p.m. Please note, that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions and social distancing requirements, for the visitation, the funeral home must conform to 30% occupancy capacity. Visitors may need to wait to enter the funeral home in order to maintain the capacity requirement. Face masks are mandatory and contact tracing information will be collected upon entering the building.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Please note, the capacity of St. Charles Borromeo Church is 200 people and face masks are mandatory.
Entombment will take place in Prospect Cemetery. Due to the pandemic the maximum number of people that may attend the service at the cemetery is 25 people.
