Obituary for Laura Pasqualina Maione (Gallo)
It is with profound sorrow, we mourn the passing of our mother and grandmother Laura Maione, on May 12, 2020 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband Amedeo (December 5, 1981) and her son Anthony (August 22, 2003). Loving mother to Joe and Adelaide (Pasquale Maietta). Proud nonna of Margo Filomena and Cristina Laura and amazing bisnonna to AlessandroLaura is predeceased by her siblings Gioconda Ronco, Rosario Gallo and Franco Gallo and is survived by her sisters Irma Romano and Maria Galli. She will hold a special place in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews and their families.
During this unprecedented situation with COVID-19, it is with very heavy hearts that our family has made the difficult decision to hold a private funeral with our immediate family, in honor of our dear mother and grandmother, Laura Maione. We have chosen to do this in order to minimize the threat of spreading the coronavirus. Ultimately, we recognize that the health and safety of our family and friends comes first. We appreciate your love and support at this time, and we welcome your messages of condolence.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Salvation Army in memory of Laura.
A tribute and celebration of her life will be held at a later date, when it is safe to do so.
