Obituary for Loreta Tortorici

With great sadness we give notice that our beloved mother Loreta Polsinelli Tortorici passed away this March 27, 2023. She was born and raised in Sora Italy September 7th 1939 and moved to Canada having Wedd my father Giovanni in 1960. Living and raising a family of four children, Cesare, Pasquale, Franca & Rosanna in the Dundas and Ossington area at 44 Grove Ave. to start with the many Italians who settled there in the late fifties. Moving to Caledonia and Lawrence in 1968 and continuing with her commitment to her family. Her love and devotion were expressed through her strong morale principles, care for her family and through her cooking mastery of some amazing dishes that we will dearly miss. A seamstress graduated in Rome and well know for her work, having made many a dress for friends and family.
