Obituary for Lorraine Morfea (Frost)

MORFEA, Lorraine
Retired TCDSB Teacher

With sadness, we announce the passing of Lorraine on December 20, 2020 at the age of 75 after a battle with a long and painful illness. Predeceased by her beloved husband Nicola (November 28, 2010) and her precious granddaughter Nordri Charlesworth. Loving mother to her son Daniel Morfea and her daughter Angela Charlesworth and proud grandmother of Myfanwy Charlesworth. A memorable aunt, she will be missed by her many nieces and nephews in Canada and Norway.

A devoted teacher, she spent her entire 40 + year career at two schools, St. John Bosco and D’Arcy McGee.

She spent the happiest times of her life at Elgin House Resort and then Fern Resort where every summer was filled with wonderful friends and family. She will miss them all.

She will be cheering on her beloved Marlies, Maple Leafs and Blue Jays for a very long time. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 5-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. As the City of Toronto has moved into the more restricted ‘lockdown’ category during this pandemic, guests will now need to now schedule and reserve their time to attended visitations. Available on the Bernardo Funeral Home website (www.bernardofh.com) you can reserve for yourself and family time during the visitation (see below and click the blue RSVP button). Face masks are mandatory and contact tracing information will be collected upon entering the building.

A private funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to participate online:
