Luis Alfonso Cartagena (September 4th, 1951 - November 24th, 2020) passed away peacefully on November 24th, 2020 at Mackenzie Health Hospital.
Loving husband of Elena Cartagena and father of John Luis-Cartagena and Gabriel Joshua Cartagena, Luis came from humble beginnings to build and secure a prosperous life for his family and their future.
He worked tirelessly for years, explored different parts of the world to elevate his family's quality of life, and continued to provide unconditional support right up until the last day of his life. He was a hero in his son's eyes, and a beloved and precious man in the eyes of his wife. He was the love of her life!
Luis taught his children the value of hard work and the need to preserve the fruits of one's labor. These lessons not only served to develop survival skills for his sons, they also helped to develop their character as humble and honest men.
Despite his struggle with various illnesses in his last few years, he remained positive and resilient to the end. His memory will forever be honored by those that have been blessed to know him.
