March 27, 1961 – December 6, 2022

With sadness, we announce the passing of Manuel on December 6, 2022 at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Maria and cherished father to Carlos (Melissa Espinola) and Pedro (Natalia Lopes). Proud Avô to Sophia and Gabriel. A dear brother, he will be missed by his siblings back in Portugal as well as his many nieces and nephews and their families.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony’s Church (1037 Bloor St. W., east of Dufferin St.) on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. A private cremation will follow.

In memory of Manuel, flowers and donations are accepted with donations being requested to Princess Margaret Hospital.
