IORI, Maria

1927-2023

After a long and courageous battle, Maria passed away peacefully on February 26th, 2023 in Toronto at 95 years of age.  Now re-united in heaven with her beloved husband Giovanni.  Forever cherished by her children, George (Elizabeth) and Gerry (Marisa).  Proud Nonna of Sarah (Josh), Alexandra (Brad), Grace (Stephen), Emma, Alanna and Bisnonna to George, Matilda, Vivian, Stella, Evelyn, Isla, Henry, Jacob, Joseph and Levi.  Our family would like to thank all of the health care providers at West Park Long Term Care for their care and support for our beloved Maria.  

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Avenue West) on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Avenue West, at Dufferin Street) on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.  Private entombment to follow.
