Maria Rende

September 21, 1925 – February 5, 2023

God called Maria home peacefully on February 5, 2023 at the age of 97. Reunited in heaven with her daughter Lina. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe. Loving mother to Francesca (Joe Coelho), Carmela (Eros Olleia), Frank (Constantina), and Dante (Anna). Forever remembered by her son-in-law, Antonio Daniele. Cherished nonna to many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

Family and friends are welcome to Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Avenue W.) on Sunday, February 12, 2022 from 2 - 4 & 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Wilfrid’s Church (1675 Finch Avenue) on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5380 Bathurst Street, north of Finch Avenue).
