Maria Sottile

September 16, 1939 – July 21, 2022

Sadly, we announce the sudden passing of Maria on July 21, 2022 at the age of 82. Reunited with her husband Alfredo (April 1, 2016), she leaves behind her beloved children Sergio (Vita), Anna, and Marco (Nancy and her children Melissa and Michael). Proud nonna of Roberto (Elina), Christina (Giancarlo) and Danielle (Matthew) and great-grandmother of Emilia and Alessia. Maria was survived by her sister in Italy; Dora.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 2-4, 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Church (640 Glenholme Ave. – Eglinton Ave. east of Dufferin St.) on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10:15 a.m. Maria's Mass will be livestreamed via St. Thomas Aquinas' Website. Maria will be laid to rest with her husband at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.).
