Obituary for Maria Teresa Loduca
LODUCA, Maria Teresa,
On October 7, 2020, we lost a caring, kind, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and best friend, Maria Teresa Loduca. She was surrounded by her family and staff at Villa Colombo Vaughan. She is now reunited with her soul mate and beloved husband of 56 years, Onofrio Loduca. Maria Teresa was 89 years.
Maria Teresa will always be cherished and deeply missed by her children, Pasquale (Grace), Teresa, Rosa (John). She was a homemaker most of her life and a dedicated, loving wife to Onofrio.
She had a tremendous love for her grandchildren, Marisa (George), Elisa (Silvio), Linda (Andrew), Christine (Patrick), Laura, James (Diana), Marco (Lindsey) Sandra (Pavlo) and she also had endless love for her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Spiro, Julian, Alexandra, Mason, Nico and Jake.
Maria Teresa is predeceased by her parents, Rosa and Domenico and predeceased by her sister, Rosa (Agostino predeceased).
Her siblings, Caterina, (Maurizio, predeceased), Francesco (Sara) and Maria (Gregorio, predeceased), will forever hold onto their precious memories they shared with their sister.
Maria Teresa will reunite with her brother and sister-in-laws, Felicia, Nicola; Maria, Domenico; Anna; Fillipo and Antonino. She will forever be remembered by her two sisters-in-law, Rosa and Maddalena.
Maria Teresa adored all of her wonderful and loving nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to all her caregivers, nurses, and doctors at Sunrise Senior Living Richmond Hill and also to all the loving caregivers, nurses and doctors at Villa Colombo Vaughan.
Relatives and friends are welcomed to The Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, Toronto) on Tuesday from 3 – 9 pm. Please note there are restrictions to the number of people in the viewing room at any given time. Visitors must also register their names and telephone number at the front desk and must wear a mask before entering the funeral home.
Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday October 14, 2020 at 11 a.m. in St. Jane Frances Church, 2747 Janes St. (just north of Sheppard Ave. W.). Private Entombment in Westminster Cemetery.
