Maruja Buitrago Calderon

March 31, 1941 – January 28, 2023

It is with a heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maruja on January 28, 2023 at the age of 81. She is reunited in heaven with her husband, Gustavo and grandson Mario Jafeth. Beloved mother of Liliana (Mario), Gustavo (Xiomara), Oscar (Lucy) and Fabio (Elizabeth). Proud grandmother of Lilian, Oscar, Stephanie, David, Issac, Carlos, Salome, Jeremy, and Lila. Cherished great-grandmother to Aitana. Loving sister of Nieves and Antonio. Maruja will be missed by all her friends and extended family.

Relatives and friends are welcomed to Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 4 - 5 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
