The very first day I met her has left a lasting impression of Mama Merina in our hearts. It was the day Rita took me to visit Mama, had a sweet time chatting at the bakery/café. Then to her homely home, spent memorable time, enjoyed delicious homemade pasta lunch followed by her tasty baked treats, all made with great love. Enjoyed her love for gardening, still have the Dahlia bulb she gave us, coming up every Spring. Later visited Papa, saw how she tenderly cared for her husband. She spread so much joy with her presence and generous gifts of hand made neck warmer, coaster,... to name a few. Most of all she was strong in her faith in Christ, that I saw in her home. So this is our hope, in Jesus, we will meet again on Heaven's glorious shore. Hard to say good bye, surely miss you here, dear Mama Merina.
