ROMANO, Michele
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Michele Romano on March 9, 2021 at the age of 89. He is now reunited in heaven with his predeceased wife of over 67 years, Annunziata. Michele will be sadly missed by his children Caterina, Graziano (Lucy), Mary (Ferdinando) and Anna (Filippo) and his grandchildren, Annette (Denny), Loreto, Robert, Steven (Taylor), Mark, Anthony, Michael, Laura, Nancy, Christina and his great grandchildren Elena and Olivia. He is predeceased by his brothers Joseph (Marisa) and Pasquale and sisters Maria Teresa, Antonietta & Giovanna. Remembered fondly as “Gentleman” for being honourable and showing kindness and generosity to everyone he would meet. He loved his family and taught us respect, humility and to live a religious life.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, March 11th, 2021 from 4-9 p.m. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in place, relatives and friends must reserve a time slot for visitation at www.bernardofh.com.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Peter’s Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Avenue, Woodbridge.) on Friday, March 12th, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. The funeral mass will be live streamed and you can participate virtually. The link is below.

A private entombment will follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst Street, north of Finch Ave.)
