LUONGO, Modestino

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Modestino Luongo on July 28th, 2022 at 82 years old.  Beloved husband to Michelina.  Cherished father to Antonio (Laura), Milva (Vince), Virgilio and Giuseppina (Mike).  Proud grandfather of Amanda (Matthew), Stephen, Melissa (Jonathan), Jessica (Mark), Christopher, Steve (Grace), Olivia, Adrianna, Luciano and great-grandfather to James.  Modestino will be missed by all of his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. 

Family and friends are welcome to attend Modestino’s visitation at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 from 2-5 & 6-9 p.m.  Funeral Mass will take place at St. Bernard de Clairvaux Church (1789 Lawrence Ave., W. east of Jane Street) on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.  Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Road, at Highway 27.) 

For everyone’s safety, the family is requesting that all guests, please wear a mask through the duration of their visit to the funeral home.

Modestino is now resting in the Lord’s kingdom and reunited with loved ones he greatly missed.

Modestino will always be remembered for the love he had for his family and hard work ethic.

His memory will be held dear in his family’s hearts.
