God called Nicola on October 12, 2020. Beloved husband of Rosa(nee Perzia). Loving father to Joseph, Philip(Rose nee Polifroni), Paul(Isabel nee Alves) and adored granddaughter to Francesca. Nicola will forever be missed by his brother Rocco(Nina), sister Carmela(of Italy) and his many nephews, nieces and beloved cousins in both Italy and Canada. Predeceased by his sisters Sapienza and her husband Bruno, and Bridgetta and her husband Sebastiano Macheda. Relatives and friends are welcomed to The Bernardo Funeral Homes 2960 Dufferin St. on Wednesday October 14, 2020 from 3 – 8 pm. Mass of Christian burial in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W at Dufferin St.) on Thursday October 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. Entombment in Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation to Sunnybrook Health Science Center or Villa Charities would be appreciated.
