It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Renzo Cosolo, born September 29, 1925 who passed away peacefully, on November 4, 2022, in his 97th year. Devoted husband for more than 70 years to Novella (nee, Duriatti). Renzo will be dearly missed by his daughter, Silvana (Elci), and his sons, Louie (Anna), and Eddy. Renzo was a beloved and cherished grandfather to Giselle, Jessica, Lauren (Furmas), and David. Predeceased by his sister & brother inlaw Anita (Mario). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. 

At the age of 25 Renzo left his beloved hometown of Rodeano Basso, arriving in Toronto on March 15th, 1951, to begin his new life with his bride. Together they learned a new language, a new way of living, and a new trade. As an entrepreneur with a vision and a great willingness to work hard and persevere he built a home for his three children and his devoted wife. Through the many twists and turns of life, the journey was ever changing and ever intriguing. He was able to love his work, love his family, and love the simple pleasures of life.

Family and friends will be received at Bernardo Funeral Home 2960 Dufferin St. Toronto on Monday November 7, 2022 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Fidelis Catholic Church 33 Connie St. Toronto on Tuesday November 8, 2022 at 10:00am with Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery.
