Obituary for Romeo Mastrantoni

MASTRANTONI, Romeo

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Romeo. He passed away at home surrounded by his family, at the age of 66. Beloved son of Francesca and the late Giacomo (1973). Romeo is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Maria and sons Giacomo (Sonia) and Andrea. Adoring Nonno to Aria. Loving son in-law of Anita Di Bartolomeo, and the late Roberto Di Bartolomeo. Cherished brother to Santa (Gino Mauti) and Concetta (Domenic Di Prospero), brother-in-law to Lidia (Giovanni Piedimonte). He will always be remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and numerous friends.

Romeo was the happiest when he was surrounded by his family. He valued being together and was the pillar of his family’s closeness.

A highly respected, hardworking and skilled carpenter, framer and builder, Romeo was truly a jack of all trades. There is nothing he couldn’t do or wouldn’t do for his family. He began working at the age of fourteen in Italy, to help support his family.

Romeo had a passion for life. He was kind, generous and loving. Even in his final moments, he always greeted his loved ones with a smile and a warm embrace. He will be forever cherished and loved.
