Obituary for Ronald Anthony Chiovitti
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ronald (Ronnie) Chiovitti on December 19, 2020. Ronnie was the beloved son of the late Samuel and Connie (Mainelli) Chiovitti. Beloved husband of Sandy and proud father of Samuel (Heidi) and Christopher (Iva). Adored Papa of Summer, Kylie and Charlotte and cherished nephew of Camille Mainelli.
Ronnie was the president of Chiovitti Banana Company. Known as the “Banana King”. He was well respected and loved by all that knew him. He loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He was kind-hearted and very generous, a mentor to so many.
Ron left us beautiful memories
His love is still our guide
And though we cannot see him
He is always by our side
In lieu of flowers our family would appreciate donations in memory of Ron to either Toronto General Hospital or Princess Margaret Hospital Foundations. Our sincerest gratitude to the doctors and nurses for the wonderful care given to Ron.
