Obituary for Rosanna Greco (D'Elia)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rosanna after a year-long battle with ovarian cancer on August 31, 2020 at the age of 76. Beloved wife for 48 years to Giuseppe. Cherished mother of Sandra (Howard Cappadocia) and Leo (Lucy Rojao) and proud nonna of Franklin, Owen and Costello. Predeceased by her sister Maria Pia, she will be missed by her siblings Claudio, Bruna, Elvira (Pupetta), and Antonio, her nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 2-4, and 6-8 p.m. Please note, that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions and social distancing requirements, for the visitation, the funeral home must conform to 30% occupancy capacity. Visitors may need to wait to enter the funeral home in order to maintain the capacity requirement. Face masks are mandatory and contact tracing information will be collected upon entering the building.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Please note, the capacity of St. Charles Borromeo Church is 200 people and face masks are mandatory.
Due to the limited number of attendees permitted in the mausoleum, a private entombment at Westminster Cemetery will follow.
In memory of Rosanna, donations may be made to either Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
