CORREIA, Susana De Jesus
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Susana on January 14, 2021 at the age of 47. Predeceased by her loving father (Duarte Manuel). She leaves behind her loving mother Venilde Correia, her loving husband Edgar Quintero Mondra, loving mother-in-law Maria Mondragon. She was the proud mother of Jenefer Carranza (Darren) Kimberly Carranza (Jaquoy). Loving grandmother of Maddilyn and Mason. She leaves a heavy heart on her sisters Delia Couto (Fernando), Sonia Staffiere (Vince) and her brother Sergio Correia (Shelley), and truly missed by nieces and nephews Ashley (Mitchell Candido (Fiance), Ryan, Taylor, Marco, Emma, Cassandra, and Vanessa, also sisters in law Paula Quintero (Robert), Cristina Quintero.
Susana loved to knit and crochet, being surrounded by her friends and family, she loved her companion cat "Bella" they loved watching movies together. Susana loved going to the mall and enjoyed her cup of coffee. She loved to smile and share her jokes and bring joy to others around her. Susana was a strong woman who conquered so many health challenges. A very sweet and kind lady, everyone loved to be in her company. Her children learned from her what it means to never give up and to keep fighting.
We would like to thank all the amazing staff at Humber River Hospital (Cancer Department) for the amazing care over the years with a special thank you to Lynne Penton for all the love and friendship provided to Susana. To Mandy the PSW for all the love, caring and compassion for the last few weeks of her life and last but not least to all our friends and family for their continued love and support that you gave us through this very difficult time.
A private service will be taking place at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

Following the service, Susana will be laid to at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Due to the limited number of people allowed to be in attendance, only the immediate family members will attend the services in the funeral home and at the cemetery.
