Teresa Schirripa

January 27, 1937 – October 29, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Teresa on October 29, 2022 at the age of 85. She is now reunited in heaven with her late husband, Giuseppe. Teresa will be forever missed by her beloved children: John (Antoinette) and Frank (Maria). Proud Nonna to Teresa (David), Joseph (Denise), Gianfranco (Christina), Julianna, and Lorena. Adoring Bisnonna to Ethan, Lucas, Chiara, and Claudia. Predeceased by her brother Sam and brother-in-law Pasquale. She will be forever missed by her siblings Iola, Giuseppina, Antonio, (Elena), Nick (Nancy), Rosa (Antonio) and her sister-in-law Sula, along with her many nieces and nephews and their families.

Friends and family are welcomed to Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Tuesday November 1 from 6-9 p.m. and on Wednesday November 2 from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church (80 Shoreham Dr. – west off Jane St., south of Steeles Ave. W.) on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Teresa will then be laid to rest with her husband at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St., north of Steeles Ave.).
