With great sadness, we announce the passing of Venezia on December 28, 2020 at the age of 98. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tommaso Rossi (2003). Forever cherished by her children Oresto Rossi (Angela), Guido Rossi (Marina), Carlo Rossi (Pre-deceased) & Wife Helen, Betty (Guido Doria) and Lucy (Cosmo Galle). Proud Nonna of Diana (Joe Rockburne), Donna (Mike LaValle), Tommy Rossi (Sara), Vanessa Rossi, Melisa Rossi (Max), Robert Rossi (Samantha), Joseph Galle, Christina Galle (Raul), Gabriella Galle, Michael Doria (Stacy), Adriana Doria (David), Paul Doria, Anthony, Laura & Bisnonna to Cole, Tyler, Luke, Jace, Arden, Bryce, Dustin, Dylan, Aiden, Brianna, Thomas, Hailey, Charlotte, Stefano, and Marco. Veneza will be missed by all of her family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Friday, January 1st, 2021 from 1-7 p.m. As the City of Toronto has moved into the more restricted ‘lockdown’ category during this pandemic, guests will now need to now schedule and reserve their time to attended visitations. Available on the Bernardo Funeral Home website (www.bernardofh.com) you can reserve for yourself and family time during the visitation (see below and click the blue RSVP button). Face masks are mandatory and contact tracing information will be collected upon entering the building.
A private funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to participate online:
