Obituary for Victoria Miranda Barnuevo

BARNUEVO, VICTORIA,

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved mother, grandmother Victoria on Saturday, February 13th, 2021 at the age of 70, after being diagnosed with Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). Victoria passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Victoria will always be remembered for her strong willed personality, graceful presence, strength, and for her loving generous heart.

Victoria will continue to be cherished and loved by her daughters, Beverly & Michelle. Grandchildren Kayla, Kayden, Amaya & Mila. Son in law Morris & Aldrin. She will be missed by her 3 beloved sisters, Cirilia, Teresita, Segundina and many nieces, nephews and their families. She will be missed by her loving friends and work mates.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our family has made the difficult decision to hold a private visitation. However, all are welcome to join the live webcast of her viewing Sunday, February 21st, 2021 between 5-8pm.

A private Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, February 22nd, 2021 at 10am. All are welcome to join the live webcast of the service on Monday at 10 a.m.

Following the service, Victoria will be laid to rest at Westminister Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Victoria's name to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sunnybrook Foundation.

Victoria will forever be engraved in the hearts of her family and friends.
